If the SCOTUS overturns Roe v. Wade this coming summer, there will be a paradigm shift in abortion law and access. Borders and jurisdiction will become the central focus of the abortion battle. What has been, until now, a uniform national right will devolve into a state-by-state patchwork. In this post-Roe world, states will attempt to impose their local abortion policies as widely as possible, even across state lines, and will battle one another over these choices; - David Cohen

@mojoman04 It is further fragmentation and unravelling of the US. There is no cohesive principle for unity on the right -- they are playing scorched-earth politics.
This whole contemporary right-wing movement is centred on a guy who caught the ear of people who feel like the world is moving past them. He neither had nor has any actual solutions for them, but they love him unreservedly for just naming this reality.
The right cannot meaningfully accuse anyone else of nihilism.
