@GrandmaJ @Minholkin
You do you so well. Love your many projects which you share with us. Here's my latest 4 you.❤️
I was my sis' Matron of Honour when she got married 29 yrs ago. Kept my dress. Finally decided to clean out the closet and couldn't part with it. Satin fabric was in perfect shape & plentiful. So I designed something pretty out of that fabric. Found a pattern from the 1920's for making those gorgeous roses used in dressmaking.
Note, pic with 2 pillows, rnd one's pinned tog.
@Krysdammit So Pretty!
@Krysdammit Oh! That is awesome. I could never do that. So talented!
@Krysdammit That's amazing! I love it. My mother was a good seamtress (hobby). She made my wedding dress oh so, so, long ago. LOL I can definitely appreciate the lace work.

Took a tailoring course in hs and making drapes, pinch pleated (these aren't lol) and fully lined, were part of the course.
Had a laces sacross that patio door, which my kitten shredded by climbing them.
Found 4 sheer panels at a yard sale this spring for $1! Lengthened them with some of the lace & appliqued them too. Lace was gorgeous and I didn't want to throw it out if I could reuse some of the good bits. Door is much larger than standard size and anything buy I have to redo.
