So, I got political with the Avon lady. She's clearly on the red side. I was telling her about the HandMaid's Tale and how we should fight the patriarchy. She asked me what are we going to do about all the immigrants crossing the border in Texas. I said, "What are you talking about? I haven't heard/read that. I'll have to look it up".

@Jezibaba Thanks! She's not a hateful person I just think she's one o fthese women whose husbands hold a lot of weight. Like, she doesn't realize the patriarchy is holding her back.

@Jezibaba Thank you. If she cares- she may look up the Handmaid's Tale on the internets. If she doesn't, she'll just continue to live in her faux bubble. I also brought up climate change and she looked confused. Climate change is kind of real.🤷
