Hello, hello, sorry I've been absent for a few days. dunno about any of you, but last night I watched the debate and in my personal opinion, Kamala Harris crushed it!!
I still cannot watch things like that.
Too close to home. I was 34 miles from the Pentagon when 9/11 happened, DH worked 4 blocks from the White House in govt, and I couldn't reach him that day. It took him til just after midnight to get home (about 40 miles).
We were ALL traumatized that day. I just can't witness / re-live it again.

As a lifelong Democrat I'm pretty used to them reliably responding to various crises by immediately forming a circular firing squad. I gotta admit, they've surprised the crap out of me these last couple of months with how well thought out the plan seems to be, and how well they're executing it.
