#Politics Well, the 2024 election will be "rigged", just like that criminal Orange Turd says. He is getting his trials delayed on crimes that we KNOW he committed. One trial is election tampering, the other is keeping National Security secrets in an unsecured location, and possibly selling them. These are as serious as it gets, and he's going to get away with both crimes. Complete BS.
@PoliticalEd I think they are so serious that they will both come back and bite him. Full stop. The people will rise up.
@mims He's not going to be held to account before the election. He's going to lose by 10 million votes, but the GOP is going to do everything and anything possible to install him anyway. We're going to have to rise up to keep him out, or we're going to be living in a Dictatorship, and trust me, none of us want that.
@PoliticalEd I agree, but in the end he'll have lost. Between now and then, there will just be a whole lotta ugly. Also, Joe will be sworn in no matter how much kicking and screaming the GOP do. He's a loser. The GOP for the most part are losers, because they never did stand up to him. And then we can start making law for things that were just tradition before. We can never again let someone in of his ilk - we can never let this happen again.
@PoliticalEd That is quite true, but we are also up to that task. It must be done methodically and oh, so thoroughly. I personally don't care what kompromat was found on too many GOP members to count (and probably on some Dems.) WHEN it is found we must clean house. Jack is already working that second tier, and that work may stretch literally decades. To our sorrow. There are so many who must be purged. But we can be - and we really must be - patient, because we have to do this properly.
@PoliticalEd Those coming up behind us, the youngers, deserve better, won't stand for any BS, and are smarter in many ways. They will have tools that we don't - and they will demand integrity. 🥰
All in all, it won't be easy, but we can do hard things.
@mims It's going to take a long time to purge all of the TFG-crap out of the system. So many in the GOP are just going blindly along with him, knowing he's a criminal and a loser. I'm still wondering what kind of Kompromat Putin found in the RNC e-mail servers, I'm sure that's 99% of the sway that TFG has over the party.
