Rough day so far. I'm making arrangements for 1 of my sweetest little pet companion to fly across the light bridge, aka, the rainbow bridge. For a little guy who was picked up as a stray from the streets of LA at maybe 2 or 3 yrs of age, with the most awful double ear infection my vetty gal had ever seen, to being rescued & living living his best life for 13 yrs w/me & my fam, he's had such a good run. I'll miss him in the physical every day, but he will continue on with me, just in spirit. 1/2
@mims sorry for your loss
@mims I'm so sorry. I very suddenly lost my 5 year old beag 18 months ago and I still miss her every day. I'm a weepy mess just reading your posts. *hugs*
@mims Sending love your way! 💔🙏
@jaunty Thanks much, Jaunty. I know he will finally be out feeling crappy when he goes, so.. there's that comfort. #smallcomfort
@mims they capture our hearts, forever.
@mims
Been there, done that many, many times. Though he will physically leave, his memory and the years of joy he's given you will never, not ever, go away.
I know that from experience...
2/2 And even knowing that, I am heartbroken because I won't get to hold him and hug him and rub his tummy and I'll miss his spin move when he is excited to see us ***from when we come back in from the other room***, or when we get home, or when the food bowls come out & a million other little precious idiosyncrasies of his. Milo and Diego are inseparable. In the allfour photo Milo is at the bottom.
