Late Day Melodic

This is a country of free spirits, so live and let live, but don't let the extremes get out of hand and cause harm or excessively impinge on others. This country is big enough and great enough that I can find niches within to express my free spirit and engage with like minded free spirits in multitudes of different ways.

Midday Melodic

If you can employ the nuance of logic when in discussions with others, it will provide a solid base to support your opinion.
If you can't, perhaps you should step back, revaluate your opinion, and sally forth on another day.

can promote many emotions

As I Listen to the Album:

I feel I am standing at the top of the earth on the shore of an isolated icy wind swept bay.
The soles of my feet are absorbing the vibrations of the ringing of the earth's bells.
My sense of self expands to take up more space as I relax the effort to contain it.
I emerge filled with purpose. I will be a good steward anywhere on earth I am, for it is my only home.

My current outdoor project is a puzzle and I love solving puzzles!
Transform pile of irregularly shaped 2-6 inch cobble rocks into water permeable driving surface.
Twist and turn rock till a tight fit so no shifting when driven upon, but leave cracks for water to sift thru and grass to grow.
Match heights against the uneven base to create a mostly smooth surface.
Rustic, functional for driving, green with grass, a slug and snail crossing in the rain and a fave with the garter snakes.

Whatever the name of , applied statistics of specific trained bias,
trainers should be required to hold an ethics certificate for each trainee.
On file with that ethics certificate should be the details of any training sets. If any original works by others are included credit and compensation should be given when their works are considered in the output.
If trainee produces output that is not ethical, trainer and trainee lose certification, trainer not to train, trainee not to produce output.

Heading out to spiff in my little patch of forest and immerse myself in the mosaic of life.
To listen to the birds going about their day.
To hope to spot one of the cute little garter snakes decked out in their bold racing stripes shy tho they may be.
To hope to stand by and watch a snail or slug extend out their 4 antennae examining the future of their forward movement.
To observe a bee gathering pollen on a flower.
All while swathed in long sleeves and trousers to avoid bug bites.

It would be more accurate to refer to as TB. The current output of AI is a collage of info or images, taken from unnamed selected sources, put together based on unnamed trained biases. Without a known context to frame the output of AI there is no way to weight its believability. You are essentially being asked to take the output on faith as true. AI doesn't consider whether the info it is trained with is true or not, it just uses whatever is fed to it - info and misinfo alike. Trained Bias.

There is gusty wind, just enough to make the lush meadows around my house dance. Whorls and curlicuques flash as the tall timothy and orchard grass stems and seeds bend to the path of capricious air. A ripple forms in a broader swath of rye grass as a stronger gust bends a full line over far enough to strongly reflect the sun. Sweeping briefly one way and then another, quick flashes transfering seamlessly among directions. An undercurrent of tiny yellow flowers accent the solid bass.

tap, tap, tap
open the window
wings fly swiftly away
tap, tap, tap
open the window
look in the eye of a northern flicker
get the ladder
put a metal plate over the hole
tap, tap, tap
open the window
persistent pretty bird
scrounge in the garage
find cedar peak shakes
assemble six sided hollow
add a roof
get the ladder
mount the hollow over the hole
rustling
wings flying back and forth
beaks carrying sticks
squeals, whistles, squiggles
no translation
sense the joy of life in the sounds

showcase of z3DRollToMatch for iPad. Generate puzzle with randomly scattered widget cubes and a widget ball starts to drop. Ball hits the board rolling, steer by tilting iPad, the block it is on crunches down as a guide for precision steering. Bump a widget, board edge or corner in rocks to convert ball to widget then another ball starts to drop. Make groups of matching widgets to transform them to rocks. May build up to 3 levels of potential maze. Transform all to rocks to solve.

I converted many of the that I built for the landscape iPad to a smaller footprint version customized for the portrait iPhone, still entertaining, but quicker to play if I find myself in wait mode while out and about. Perhaps one of these will brighten your wait times too?

i am thinking of planting some borage to enjoy the pretty blue flowers and to provide forage for bees. does anyone have experience growing it in the west of the Cascades?

I love reading books. They expand my life experience. It is particularly joyful to find books by a new writer and add their unique voice of life to my knowledgebase. If there is more than one book by them available to read, I will choose publish date to read them in because the writer's voice also evolves over time. Their earliest published works also tend to be more complex and interesting to me. Perhaps because they were written during a time when art was the goal instead of a deadline.
