@singlemaltgirl Not common at all. The Pennsylvania Dutch (who were Germans, of course) made it famous in the Philadelphia region. Itโ€™s rare to see it this far away from the mid-Atlantic.

what does it taste like? can you liken it to something more common that we might eat? or is it just a unique taste all its own?

@singlemaltgirl It tastes like liverwurst or pรขtรฉ and then fried to give it a little crunchy taste on the outside and soft on the inside. The frying is what makes it delicious for me - it totally changes the flavor palate.
