Life skills workshops (#nutrition, #cooking, financial literacy) to help students transition to independent living
Sure, much of this stuff belongs to #parenting, NOT schools
But why aren't such courses mandatory in EVERY university?

Four years ago, I was
"depressed, not because I do not have full time work anymore, but exactly because I still (must) have it."
How many of you feel the same for the same reasons, today?
See "Let’s talk adults and purpose now" in https://stop.zona-m.net/2020/05/italylockdown-is-over.-lack-of-meaning-continues/
Recently, it was revealed that the Florida Department of Protection was working on plans to develop several state parks. This drew criticism, as many see the land as needing to be protected, especially as several parks were slated for golf courses, sometime we don't lack here.
Now, the Whistleblower has been fired and is speaking out, saying he couldn't help this plan and needed to speak out.
Of aging, pensions, "experience" lost, and "innovation"
a hugely important, urgent theme:

"All fossil-fuel vehicles will vanish in 8 years in twin ‘death spiral’ for big oil and big autos, says study that’s shocking the industries"

@ReneeVoiceBrand @feloneouscat exactly.
@feloneouscat @mfioretti Was anyone on the floor with her? I work in an office space where you can be on the 3rd floor and no one would know you're there because so many offices are now empty due to remote work. It's a tragedy all the way around.
@feloneouscat @ReneeVoiceBrand yes, that's the part that really depresses and infuriates me.
See my previous... hey, what are messages called here on #CoSo??? Not tweets, I assume?
@ReneeVoiceBrand I have no idea, but lots of people have all their relatives in a city different than the one they work in, so it's normal not to hear from each other for 3/4 days. Sad, but very normal.
It's the coworkers, janitor, security people etc... IN the building not noticing it that's inhumane

13 years ago, #onthisday, I published what may be one of the first comprehensive #opendata reports in Italy, if not internationally. I dare say most of the conclusions are still relevant:
