Just realized I ended my last two (completely unrelated) posts with "oops."
....Oops.

Supposed to be sleeping. Instead am wide awake because I stared at my blue laptop screen too long playing Mars Base, which it's basically sci-fi Stardew Valley on Mars without the social stuff with the townsfolk (which I kind of wish it had, but it's still fun...albeit a bit glitchy.) Oops.

Aaaaanyway, I did a grocery run for them this morning, and while I'm happy to have been able to help (and offered,) my fibromyalgia is angry. I hurt lots now. :(

Soooooo my mom has Covid. My aunt & uncle, who she lives with, also have Covid. But they seem to have caught it from different sources, because my mom got it on vacation, started feeling symptoms on the plane home, and isolated as soon as she got in the house, while my aunt felt sick 2 days later. From what I hear, the incubation is about 5 days, right? Oh, and my uncle tested positive yesterday but didn't feel any symptoms until today. This strain is weird.

Seriously though, I know much more about it than I would like to without even seeking it out, and I honestly have no opinion except that no one came out of it looking good. And that includes all the gawkers.

Now that a certain trial is over, does that mean I will no longer have to deal with it constantly being shoved in front of my eyeballs?

Debating whether I should attempt JuNoWriMo to get my first three chapters written to send to my agent. My record for finishing nanos isn't great, but I'm not getting ANY writing done right now, so maybe it will provide a little motivation? #cosowriters #amwriting
