Got a sleep mask with built-in headphones and listened to Brain.FM's deep sleep mode with rain sounds instead of their default music last night, and was OUT the entire night. Still not feeling rested because I didn't start it until after 1:30am....👀 And also my head is clogged up with allergies. But maybe keeping that up every night + consistently going to bed at a decent hour will start to pay off? Like...sleeping well may actually be possible? Is this magic?

@meganpaasch sounds interesting. Sleep quality is a big interest of mine as I’ve struggled with insomnia and depression. I can see how darkness and sounds would increase you deep sleep stages.

@hootenanny I also have always had problems with insomnia. Just having a sleep mask alone has helped me a lot. I bought a cheap one on a whim at the airport about a month ago and found it helped me to fall asleep faster and go back to sleep more easily when I wake up during the night. Definitely recommend at least trying that to start. The hard part for me is convincing my brain that it's time to stop doing whatever I'm doing in the evening and do to bed, lol.
