And suddenly
They appear
In their hundreds
and thousands
Little stars
Lighting the mist
In drifts of purple
With hearts of gold
Enticing the sun
From behind her veil
In pale shades of lilac
And deep lavender
All of the colours
In the key of blue
And in the midst of all of it,
You.
And I'm remembering
With my sad little smile.
