I don't buy this whole "Trump vs. Bannon" thing. Bannon was on good terms with him last month. Granted there's been some friction; who knows, :Asshat:'s ire might even be genuine. But in no way do I think that Bannon made some kind of a mistake and ended up on Trump's bad side. Bannon is calculated as fuck, and it wouldn't shock me in the slightest to find out that this whole thing is one big red herring meant to divert our attention - which is a standard Trump move.

Eyes open - stay frosty.

@malice it quickly got the conversation off his stupid NK Nuclear tweet! And the stupid awards show tweet, and the stupid....I could be here all day...

@malice I believe it to an extent, because Bannon, above all else, is an opportunist. He's dead in the Trumpverse, so I think he's trying to go the route of Dick Morris and become a turncoat.

That said, I do agree with your closing line entirely. Despite Trump's laundry list of faults, he's brilliant at finding ways to turn a situation to his advantage. He's built a career out of that ability. He's absolutely going to use this as a covering action.

@BlackMage Sowing chaos is Bannon's signature move, and he's absolutely the smarter of those two. Whatever the facts are, I'll wager it's Bannon driving.

@malice You may very well be right. It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Either way, whenever those two are in the news together, it's best to stay alert. What you see is rarely the real story.

@malice regarding our discussion yesterday, I think this might be it. Perhaps Bannon through himself on a grenade to help push Trump’s agenda.

@BlackMage Haha, I don't think Bannon is that selfless. He wants chaos - he got chaos.
