He's fine now, but that's why he vanished for more than half a year. He was just camped out in the woods, totally out of touch, not really realizing how much time had passed.
So, just a reminder to take care of your war vets, because they never really forget

If he hasn’t already tried it, EMDR can stop PTSD. Nothing works for everyone, but sure can’t hurt to try. Go online and check out providers in your area.
@Kitty62862 @malice EMDR was damn miraculous for me. Now I am a pain in the ass and cantankerous but it’s on my terms and not from the PTSD. True. Story.
@Thumprhare @Kitty62862 He's 80-something....he's not about to start going to what he would consider "witch doctors". Just not his generation.
@malice @Kitty62862 tell him from one vet to another it works well
@malice no worries. Sad thing is it was developed for Vietnam vets...I get it tho it took me years to get over what I thought it would be. I hope you and he are doing ok. @Kitty62862
@malice glad you found him and glad he’s ok.
(I think I called it, too)
@malice
So glad you were able to find him
Wishing only the best for you both in the next step of your journey
I believe vets should be our cherished treasure & we should do better as a country
