I've been raging about the R. Kelly allegations for months, because his abuse of girls is repugnant and I think the dude needs to be buried under a prison. Yet my posts on the topic get very little traction or response except from those friends of mine who are people of color. Apparently white people just don't consider the abuse of black girls is their problem. It's "other".

Be better than that, people.

@malice In fact, in the documentary, one of the jurist on his first case said that he thought black girls were "trampy" and dressed provocatively, that is why he voted for acquittal.
