As a side gig I do community management for a bunch of forums, and one of them happens to be a big sneaker enthusiast community (which is apparently a thing). ALL DAY today I've been getting threats and hatemails from people saying "IM BOYCOTTING U" and registering just to spam the forums with racist shit and I'm like...we're not even affiliated with Nike you fucking morons.
