I am digitizing old 8mm family home movies - I rented a scanner.

Didn’t come with a manual so it’s taking some time and web searches to figure it all out and get a workflow going—

It’s a hoot seeing them but a lot are overexposed and all those issues. Going to see what I can do in assorted software to clean up and correct them.

@kbsez some Gamma correction might be able to compensate for the "overblown" look, but there's only so much that can do to improve it, depending on the level of overexposure.
