@Siren_six After the whole "Your body my choice" lunacy today I watched a few videos. There was one where they showed women on Tic Tok and Instagram literally crying. I think we're feeling defeated and emotionally beaten down.
Repeating what I said earlier today:
Celebrate all the good. Embrace the light. Find strength, joy, and peace in your loved ones. Don't let any day go by without gratitude.
When Epictetus talks about how every situation has two handles, this is what he means. You can decide to grab onto anger or appreciation. You can pick up the handle of resentment or of gratitude. You can look at the obstacle or get a little closer and see the opportunity.
Goodnight CoSo ❤️
@NorthernInvader He hasn't even been vetted yet?!? Hold your horses Trumpy Bear.
Step one in bypassing your constitution. It won't end here.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/nov/11/trump-senate-administration-hearings
Donald Trump has demanded that the three frontrunners to lead the Senate allow him to appoint officials to his new administration without confirmation hearings on Capitol Hill, as a future Republican government began to take shape the week after his election victory.
@ProudCanadianAthiest I was on Google Plus. It was great until the scammers took over using it to troll women.
Took a stand on Facebook. Even before the election I took abuse from men who worship at the altar of Donald Trump and others like him. I know it's not all men but if male dominated social media platforms won't stand up for us by purging these jerks and women aren't given opportunities to front social media platforms, then we have to draw a line. My body, my autonomy is mine, not theirs. I just don't feel safe anymore.
@Queasy Oh wa wa ya big Incel baby you need a baba and a diaper change? You need mama to wipe your nose? I swear he's hilarious but not.
Native American Heritage Month
Native Americans and Military Service:
This date takes on a layered meaning when considering the complex relationship between Native Americans and the US military. Throughout history, Native Americans have served in the US armed forces at a higher per capita rate than any other ethnic group.
It's a time to reflect on the historical injustices they have faced, including forced removal from their ancestral lands, broken treaties, and assimilation policies.
Furthermore, it's an opportunity to acknowledge the ongoing challenges faced by many Native American communities today, such as poverty, lack of access to healthcare and education, and the fight to protect their sovereignty and cultural heritage.
yeah, i came across it again and boosted it, so more people are aware that action is occurring 👌🏽
thanks🙏🏻
