Reading about the warnings about possible violence during the election…

This is what my State Assembly Rep posted on his personal FB page (which he sets to public view). I look at his page sometimes bc there are a lot of crazy comments to read. Also he calls Democrats “demonic”, multiple times. His personal page used to be his official page until he supported another Republican rep who beat his little kids (and it came out in the news). I covered up others’ names for privacy.

@AverageCitizen Did you hear what's been happening in Washington and Oregon. People are literally setting fire to ballot drop boxes. Now election officials have to find anyone who might have used said boxes and offer them the option of re voting in the event their ballots were compromised or damaged.😭

@lisaannlm yes, it is very worrying. I would bet it is RW extremists behind those incidents. I hope people will track their ballots and redo their votes if they were ruined by the vandalism.

I plan to vote on Election Day, I live in a small town so I don’t have any worries about voting. The most I have ever seen is a crazy person holding a sign 100 ft away (or whatever the legal distance is here) from the polling place. I hope they’re not planning any real violence on Election Day.

@lisaannlm always!

The sucky thing is my area is so red that this guy will likely win his seat again. Kind of stuck with him as a representative. There is a Democrat running against him. And we do have new maps this year so maybe a slim chance to send him back to the private sector!

@AverageCitizen So sorry I hope everything works out favorably. Redistricting is always horrible, particularly if it favors Trump in any way.
