Well, managed to make it through the worst (as far as I know) of the cyclone. Few family members without power atm and mum had to drive through some sketchy waters and slips for a birth (midwife) but everyone doing ok here. Though I did slip off the steps and messed up my back again so am hobbling around, again. Fingers crossed its only temporary and comes right soon. #NewZealand #CycloneGabrielle

For everyone following me, just letting you know I personally survived #CycloneGabrielle with very little damage.
However , many in Aotearoa NZ have lost homes and livelihoods and many of us have lost our world-famous sense of chill over the past 2 weeks. We are battered and soaked to the bone. Our infrastructure is smashed to atoms, including stormwater, transportation and power grids , but we are resilient.
This is what a climate emergency looks like.

(from what I understand, they add a drop of water to make the eyes temporarily "stick")
#TheLastOfUs show is absolutely amazing, hits as hard as the game did emotionally and you can tell that the creators loved the game. Episode 3 was such a beautiful thing to see.
