After not being on this site for a while, I’ve been perusing the firehose feed & it is clear to me — I spend far too much of my social media time on other sites when I should be here
The thing is, I mostly use SM (Twitter, Threads etc.) like a vomitorium — a place for me to discreetly spew whatever is in my guts that I can’t digest silently.
But I don’t see CoSo that way. So I’m going to experiment with coming here first to share things besides my pain and aggravation. We’ll see how that goes…

@ChocolateVelvet this place is so much more. Here is much more like a small town full of people watering their gardens of good things more often than not. ❤️
@lilyunsub yeah, I agree. Folks here really do seem to be on board with the effort to cultivate a positive environment. That’s what makes CoSo special — you don’t see that much on other SM sites.
And the positive voices are usually drowned out by so much noise on those other sites. So much less noise here, it’s great.
