I think we accidentally started an underground railroad for kittens cos like, a few months back there was this street cat that turned up, saw her at the neighbours and she looked real unhealthy and super rough, very thin and like she hadn't eaten in a long while. She was super friendly and talky so started feeding her and slowly she let us like pick her up and she'd fall asleep by the door and stuff, basically made it her home. explores during the day, tough as nuts and staunches out mums dogs.

Named her Djinn Bojangles and she is like the most vocal singsongy cat ever but tonight, she was herding this smol black kitten, couldn't be more than 3 or 4 months or so (and looking like she might be preggers) over to where we put food out for her and was like, sharing her food o.o she would always chase any other cat away, like the neighbours ones who tried to get near the food but she was literally herding this one towards it.

Awww, how wonderful that you are caring for this singing kitty and she in turn is caring for the youngster (yikes that she is preggers…). I just can’t seem to keep up with the bedraggled, hungry strays, but I’m trying. I’ve taken in five cats so far (over 5 yrs) and two more showed up this winter.
Thank you for the loving kindness you are giving them. I know it’s not easy💜😽

@Esther we took in our 2 indoor kitties (Leto and Zori) when they were just over 5 weeks and they went from super scared anxious kittens to very happy cats. Leto still gets anxious sometimes (and stress eats) but calms down with a "its ok buddy, you're ok". Djinn is making herself at home already and her buddy is slowly growing more trusting. Got to give her little pets tonight! We're definitely happy to be cat ladies! ❤️ 😇 😍

Cats are such special creatures and I love how they share their lives with us. Sounds like you *see* them and they respond😻

I haven’t been able to catch up with your Tune Tales yet (I need to be on a computer instead of phone to fully take it in). I’m looking forward to them. I read your description of the Tune Tales and just want to say I am in awe of you❤️

@Esther very much do, they have their own particular ways with things and anxieties, its nice to be able to reassure them in the way they need and feels so wonderful to see them thriving.

Aww thank you! Have been thinking about doing a 'shorts' version of them with phone orientation/sizing so that they are easier to see/read. It'll be worth the effort I reckon. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
