wow. no more Foursquare City Guide app as of Dec. 15. it was a great app to find places and restaurants in all the cities I've visited and lived. plus the lists were great to remind me of places I wanted to visit. Swarm is allegedly getting new features in the near future, but it just won't be the same.

Shakshuka combines a spicy tomato sauce with the deliciousness of a soft cooked egg. And confounded my many attempts to get it right until I divided up the tasks. Perfection. #larryskitchen

when it is New Comics Day, I try to spend the first moments of the day reading all the new selections (Nightwing, World's Finest, Titans). that way, I can talk with my friends about great moments, weird stuff, and the future of story lines.

the final issue of the Tom Taylor story in Nightwing is perfectly done. such a beautiful complete story from Tom, Bruno, Adriano, Caio, and Wes.

but Wally's new costume in Titans is ... not great. ugh.

if you missed the start of the CBJ/FLA hockey game, take the time to watch it now. The Blue Jackets started the game with 4 players, leaving the left wing open for Johnny Gaudreau, who died after being hit by a car while riding his bike. Both teams let the clock run down 13 seconds before playing the game.
