Asked pain management doc's PA for an upgrade from 4mg to 5mg of Dilaudid. Was told that they couldn't do that since it doesn't come in 5mg pills - just 1mg, 2mg, 4mg, & 8mg. Asked for some other kind of upgrade. Got told she'd ask the prescribing doc for advice, and if I didn't hear back, I'd be getting a new scrip.
Never heard back, so I called my pharmacy. Got told I have some 4mg and some 2mg pills on order. I'll find out Monday what the new dose is.
