They're building a Dutch Bros coffee drive-thru place near my house. What can I expect, especially in comparison to Starbucks or other places?
@leejackson I don’t like them, although I’ve been known to grab a chai from there if I’m in an unfamiliar town (I don’t like Starbucks’ chai). They don’t actually have coffee, just espresso drinks. They are always SUPER busy though. I’m just snobbish about it for some reason. Too many bumper stickers. I go to Starbucks for coffee drinks.
Plus iirc the owner was trying to open a horse race betting operation that would have competed with Indian casinos and I’m not on board with that.
@leejackson they make the coffee drinks too sweet, even for me, and I have a major sweet tooth.
@leejackson I buy my coffee beans from a fantastic local roaster. I’ll buy Charbucks when i’m on the road.
