Baker the cat update 20190129: Baker slept on the sofa with the E-collar on overnight. I guarded him. At one point, he got up and tried to drink from his kitty water fountain. Don't know how successful he was, but he did come back with wet fur on his chin.

The doctor has instructed us to skip his morning pain medicine dose to try and pep him up and get him to eat more. I question this, but I wasn't the one on the phone. I guess we follow doctor's orders for now.


@leejackson It’s probably long enough since surgery. He’s probably okay for that.

This is why those pillow collars were invented

So kitty can function. He won’t get near any medical stuff.

@Kitty62862 We were strictly told *not* to use a pillow collar - instead, to use a regular E-collar. We were allowed to get a foldable soft E-collar that holds together with Velcro instead of a hard plastic E-collar, but no pillow collar. Too much risk of him getting to his abdominal scar.
