Does anyone know how I can gain access to archived CBC News footage?

This link should have video of my grandfather talking. It was a heartbreaking scene, but it's been over 20 years since his passing. I think hearing his voice would perk my mom up a bit. I sent them an email, but since I'm a private citizen I doubt they'll respond favourably. Any ideas or suggestions? Footage is supposedly here:
