@Render in Canada, if you get into a bar fight and beat someone to the point of them having a physical disability as a result, you're better off "finishing the job" as manslaughter catches a significantly lesser charge than aggravated assault causing grevious bodily harm.
They specifically told us that in law class lol
You'd think there'd be a hell of alot more killing going on there. @killagator @Render @lacuda
well...part of the theory behind having such a lax "Stand your Ground Law" is that if everyone knows that everyone else is packing and can ruin your day and get off, people will be more civil......might be working.....🤷♂️
I know that I am always checking to see who is imprinting......
I bet that does cut down on home invasion. That type of crime is picking up in Cali. And we basically have to use our firearms as clubs.
Only our felons use them. (i.e. Sacramento) @killagator @Render @lacuda
@killagator @Bemet_Or t get he data is limited bc the Legislative branch has continued to block the ability to do deep research in firearms deaths and trends. True story.
well, here in FL we have the "Sunshine Law" that make everything publicly available....nothing hidden behind "a veil"......that was until DeSantis starting firing all the States Data Scientist who recorded and published things that made his agenda look bad.....can't see nor hide what isn't available 😬
@lacuda In our state I have to wait for them to cross the threshold and give them fair warning.
Unless they start shooting from the street...
