Every time Americans start whimpering about gas prices again, I want to tell them to go buy some in Tokyo.

The price is the same, but you only get a LITER.

@mcfate 1.79 CAD a liter where I am, I think that's about $5.32 a US Gallon. What are you guys seeing out there?

@lacuda

I dunno, I'm not out of gas and I buy it about once in six weeks or so. Four-something was the last I paid.

@mcfate lucky lol. I commute 60 km with a little Pontiac G5 every day for work, running me like $250 a month in gas alone lol

@lacuda

Oh, I remember "commutes". Boy, was that ever nonsensical. Sure glad I stay in one spot now.

I go out once a week to do marketing and errands. Sometimes, if events necessitate, I'll go out in between, like buying the microwave the other day.

I rarely go more than five miles.

I live a nice, orderly sort of existence.

@mcfate I'm trying to consider getting a higher education to get out of my industry, would be nice to work from home
