New thread time.
Kyiv held last night. Tonight may be different.
Kharkiv and its flanks are still holding.
Sumy and its flanks are still holding.
Mariupol is still holding.
Kherson and the lower Dnieper bridges are still holding.
Russian forces north of Kyiv are still building up for another attempt on the city tonight.
Russians still trying to interdict supply convoys from Poland into Ukraine and failing.
In several places the Russian logistics system has collapsed completely. Notably along the western part of the Belarus border, where they are running out of fuel in mid-drive.
The first two Russian echelon attacks have to have decimated Russia's elite units. But that remains to be seen. there are still at least three more echelons to go.
Chechen armored battalion wiped out northwest of Kyiv.
Northeast of Kyiv the Russian units following up behind Spetsnaz/ABN are from the Russian Eastern District. Those are not as well equipped, trained, or motivated as the elite units. And many of them are manned by conscripts far from home who were told this was just going to be an exercise.
The southern front loss of Melitopol has become a problem. Russian tanks have now penetrated as far north on the E105 highway as Tokmak and are moving fast behind the main Ukrainian defensive lines.
Ukr is going to have to find some sort of reserves to hold or counter attack before the Russians get to the Zaporizhzhia area. Or hold at the Zaporizhzhia/Dnipro bridges over the Dnieper as best as they can.
Videos coming out of the fighting on the ring road around Kharkiv. Ukrainian regulars delivering an ass whipping to 1st GTA.
Linking because can't post videos right now.

Russian armored column from 41st Combined Arms Army's 35th Motorized Rifle Brigade wiped out on the road from Belarus to Kyiv.

Russian 1st GTA is still trying to flank Kharkiv and still losing tanks by the dozens in the attempt. It's looking like the bulk of the early Javelin deliveries went to the Ukrainian units on that front.

Not seeing new updates from the southern front yet.
And the southern front rears it ugly head...
With the fall of Melitopol and Tokmak the Russians have finally broken a flank. Although still not across the Dnieper river in the south they're advancing eastward along the coast behind the Mariupol defenses.
When/if they link up southeastern Ukraine is gone.
Not sure if Ukr has any mobile reserves left to commit for a counter attack in that area.
@MrGoat Good map!
I'm not sure if Kherson (lower left) has fallen/been reached. This mornings attempts to cross the two bridges there went really poorly for the Russians.
The northwards advance out of Melitopol through Tokmak (bottom center) has already reached the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia.
The Donetsk line and Mariupol are still holding, but not for long at this rate.
@lacuda Ayup.
The SOBR unit provided the captured vehicles and were the ones wearing captured uniforms.
SOBR is the Spetsnaz unit of the Interior Ministry. Apparently they don't share a radio net with the Russian regular army.
