@koavf I wonder what percentage of head trauma cases are caused by sports (eg: American football, rest-of-the-world football) and what percentage are caused by cycling.

I'd be surprised if the share from cycling was anywhere near as large as the share from sports.

There also may be a connection to SARS-CoV-2, which causes brain damage that could potentially A) increase vulnerability to head trauma, and B) impair reaction times/executive function, increasing the risk of head impact.

@IrelandTorin Or workplace injuries (which overlaps with professional sports). Either way, TBIs are far more common without a helmet than with. :/
