With the caveat that, of course, there are _some_ uses of the Web that by their nature need to be protected (e.g. encrypted journalist communications, a message board for vulnerable minorities), but Instagram is not that.

@koavf I agree in part -- mostly hides their posts from the PUBLIC internet (but now, for free, users can opt in to sharing them). But obviously the interface is totally web-based.
