@stark I mean, it seems like you are a Swede, so you are _probably_ white. That helps. :/ America is a real mixed bag. There are a lot of great things that we have done and a lot of nasty ones as well (including ones that we are _doing_.) I hope you can separate the good from the bad but sometimes, that is impossible.

I understand the need for border protection. That isn't an issue.
What I vehemently disagree with is turning it in to legal limbo where you as a traveller have no rights and can not even obtain legal council/representation. I'd simply say "let me then opt out of those countries that behave that way until that situation is fixed".
And I can see both the good and the bad. :) No worries.

This is one reason why I am becoming ever more reluctant to visit the US (or UK or other countries behaving in similar manner with their border control) again.
