@WILDKATZ @th3j35t3r My experience as a new user of both #CoSo and #Mastodon suggests that #CoSo is better for socializing, but the broader fediverse is better for getting news (both standard and scientific), sharing data, and following specific journos, writers, scientists, academics, and the like.
