Went to our annual HOA meeting. (I know, yuck.) I discovered that I am probably the only liberal person in the entire complex.
How do I know?
They were happily calling one of the other tenants "Democrat" as a teasing insult. And they ALL laughed about it (including the spouse btw). Being outnumbered 15 to 1, I just buried my head in my phone.

@AngryCanadianGamer I am going to mine next week, mostly to yell at someone about the second 25% increase in fees in the last year (yep, 25% last year too).
HOA fees now will be more than most mortgages. Avg high end of a 4bd unit is about $80K, and the fees are going up to $400 a month. Non-gated community, declining area.
