It feels to me like the CoSo mood is getting a little calmer, a little more tired, still teary, unhappy and angry but the rage is kind of raged out.

This is healthy, but at the same time dangerous. We humans are so good at adapting! We will bear up under almost anything that does not kills us. Generations of humans have lived their entire lives under conditions of unimaginable brutality and misery, and yet have lived. We adjust to new normals. That doesn't mean the normals are acceptable.
