Ok It's new project day!!
I crocheted and knitted some back in the day but have lost it over the years. I wanted to get back into it and bought a few Woobles to get me started.
There was a period where I made Amigurumi for friends way before it was cool 😜
I am a little nervous I will not do it terribly well but am also excited to make something with my hands. I default to reading for relaxation but actually making something uses your brain in a whole other way and I need that. 🍣 ❤️
I did not feel like I did much since I don't have much to show for the 4 hours I spent on this but I did learn some other lessons!
I have never worked with stitch markers before and it really threw me off. I thought I was following directions but my counts were off.
I ended up trying to start over and accidentally unwound the whole pre started starter piece!!! I had to practice some problem solving skills while also working on my newly developing emotional regulation.

I'm a knitter, and make hat/socks/scarves. My crocheting is mostly afghans and lace things (doilies! Really.)
Also remember that YT (mostly) is your friend.
