@redenigma Oh yeah, the house would have to go. I'm not sure what the rules are for an access road, but if it was a retreat or something, private, you'd only need the one lane.
@kismatt it's unfortunately near Syracuse, & everyone with 10 or more acres is now trying to sell to developers because of the chip plants going in. this is the area i want to move to, but now farms are trying to cash in for retirement & are asking multi-millions instead of the 600k they might get as working farms :(
@kismatt in NH there wouldn't be enough frontage there to have a development width road with the necessary buffer width, even if you took out the existing house... i'm not sure what NY laws say...
