This is a Mashup of the diamond motif from the Drops Design Aphrodite top and an edging pattern that I had found while doing an image search online. It will look better once it's finished and has been blocked.
The Aphrodite top comes with instructions to make a summer crochet top and is size inclusive, from S - XXXL.

I'm at the cast off point of the first half of a pair of slippers, and need to concentrate on the tubular bind off. Too much crap going on to do it tonight, I think.

I've used Mosaic Stitch in v v big projects. Three afghans, in fact, one of which is about 10' long.
The slippers are a new pattern on Rav, from someone in Switzerland, I think. I'm 'testing' them in acrylic, and once I get my head around the bind-off, i'll remake them in some wool.

@kismatt I have not tried mosaic crochet yet, but I love the effect!
Using that method on slippers must make some very warm footwear.
