7 while checking the seal i came into contact with gunk on the flapper.
(Oh my word....EWWWWWW!!!!)
@Horrrflmlvr thankfully that part of the toilet is just water. The yucky stuff doesn't come into contact with the bottom of the tank.
If it's slimy, that's from your tank and water into the bathroom....kinda like the shower head or sink filter.
