My evening just opened up. I was supposed to go over to my mom’s to help her with stuff when I got a call from Brother2 telling me she’s not up to it tonight. I’m sitting in my car about to turn it on when he called, just 20 minutes after I had called to let them know I would be over soon. Sure would have been nice to not have gotten dressed, after having been in my “I’m single and don’t feel like being appropriately dressed” clothing all day long.
I was going to make dinner with her, along with other things and so I was lazy today and didn’t clean up the kitchen. Not even sure what I want to eat.
@see_the_sus now you just need some asiago cheese and a casserole dish to bake everything in. :D
Plans have changed, again. 😆 My bestie just called and I’m going to meet her for nibbles and drinks.
@see_the_sus The cursed Olive Garden used to have this asiago cheese chicken tortellini alfredo bake that was...*chef kiss* but they don't have it anymore.
So I make my own version :D
Every now and then I get a craving for the place.
@see_the_sus yeah, but
1. I make my own version of their salad, and mine has more goodies in it (family get-together-required-thing-to-bring, in fact)
2. their menu changes too much, and has some odd things on it (deep fried lasagna?? eh?)
3. I don't have to dress up ;)
4. it's cheaper for me to make my own lol

I do do have some three-cheese raviolis in the freezer and a jar of pasta sauce. 🤔
