What I don't get is that Paramount+ *cancelled* this series after S2 had already been announced and (I think) was well into production. Now I've read they are pulling S1 off the P+ streaming service, but WILL complete S2 and shop it around.
Where did this 'first look' vid come from?? It's almost 5 minutes long.

Actors/writes/layppl DO NOT GET residuals on streaming content. That's one of the biggest reasons for the strike!! Actors /writers only get residuals on BROADCAST content, and only for a period of time.

I get it, they make more money making it and shopping it around than putting it on their own service.
I get it, and I don't. I know what they're saying, but the reasoning is stupid. By that logic, what's the purpose of Paramount+ if not to show the stuff they produce (applies to all streamers).
Unless, it's to milk all they can from existing shows (and a few originals). We know the older shows are almost pure profit for them seeing how little they pay in residuals.
