Just so you know....shopping gluten free really sucks....cuz everything has gluten in it, you'd be surprised in what it hides in. Soups, cereals, sauces, some of the meat products, protein bars, you name it, it probably has gluten in it.

@insomniacviolin I have the same problem with barley. Tons of processed foods have malted barley flour or barley malt, since it is used as a sweetener.

I can have 100% whole wheat bread, but not 'wheat bread' because it uses malted barley flour to avoid adding sugar.

Is not fun. I read a LOT of labels.

@kismatt wheat, rye, and barley for gluten free for us Celiac people. Then you have to think about drinks too. The first question I usually get is "you mean you can't drink beer???"
