@insomniacviolin I have the same problem with barley. Tons of processed foods have malted barley flour or barley malt, since it is used as a sweetener.
I can have 100% whole wheat bread, but not 'wheat bread' because it uses malted barley flour to avoid adding sugar.
Is not fun. I read a LOT of labels.
@kismatt wheat, rye, and barley for gluten free for us Celiac people. Then you have to think about drinks too. The first question I usually get is "you mean you can't drink beer???"
