My mother took two cats from a rescue (i.e. cat lady) 3 weeks ago. Only one of them comes out and observes, and the other has been scarcely seen. Even prior, she had an outdoor young kitty she'd been feeding and watering on the front porch.
Maybe should've taken the cat who is exploring, but I worry about the hidey cat, after this long. Ella only took 3 days to come explore the TV and less than 3 weeks to let me pet her. Mom's maybe too passive with the kitties, tho ❤️ right place. #CatsOfCoso
@Ellico2020bis Friends of mine adopted a feral that we literally didn't see for 3 months. The litter box was filled and the food was emptied so they knew she was still in the house.
Q-Kitty is affectionate when she wants to be, and you'd better pay attention to her if she tells you to!!
@kismatt Mom is old. I actively played with Ella for a dedicated hour per day to socialize her. I just think Mom shouldn't have taken cats if she wasn't going to put in the play time for them. As good a cat mother as she is.
