So let me get this straight, Boeing and Space X have contracts to build some of the most important and critical crafts for the US, and World, right? Boeing planes are built with cost cutting measures leading to failures, some catastrophic, and Tesla Cybertrucks are barely drivable due to poor engineering and cost cutting measures, not to mention the “self drive and autopilot” features do not work. Seriously? Where are the adults?

There is a difference between a contract with a government level agency vs the crap sold to consumers.
The level of oversight and auditing for a Human Space, with their ability to stop any launch from happening for a craft vs the NTSB and FAA strong recommendations and very little enforcement powers.
