@killingfloorman I mean, I did my undergrad degree for fun - not to get a job (it was humanities and I never wanted to be a teacher 😉). I still to this day don't think it was a waste of time or money.
The difference being, it wasn't ridiculously expensive back then - Australia has recently made it more expensive by far to study humanities. Plus a recent huge indexation jump for current student debt.
It's like our conservative govt(s) want us to become more like America or something 😑

@TrishaGreenie Same here. They used to pay us (not much) to go to university. I guess they decided that too many kids from state schools like me were getting education and jobs
