@th3j35t3r The insight that best explained black holes for me is that the reason light can't escape them is because the gravity is so powerful that spacetime itself-the fabric THROUGH which light travels-is moving faster than light toward the center mass.Like a fish trying to swim up a waterfall, light cannot outrun the flow of spacetime.
The math of General Relativity breaks down when anything moves faster than light. It is similar to dividing by zero.
@th3j35t3r A great man that outlived his diagnosis far beyond expected and opened minds and dimensions to a generation after Carl Sagan's loss.
The successor to Einstein, he furthered cosmology and was best known for his work on Black Holes (both in better defining them and in better describing them for the rest of us normmies).

The entire "ghost security" thing was a fake. It was just Smith and a couple of Twitter geeks stealing info from other researchers, then re-packaging it as their own, and selling it to the government..
What Smith didn't know at the time was that the other researchers he was stealing from were already giving their info to law enforcement and certain agencies, for free.
@th3j35t3r can back me up on this.
I cannot recommend this enough. A true, honest, and sober look at the choices we have ahead of us as a species. (Author of Sapiens and Homo Deus, two books I highly recommend).

I forget sometimes how much I love early IDM.
This song always reminds me.
A smooth, syncopated ambience that brought the analogue machines to life.

#CoSo just tipped over 12K users, in like 5 weeks. Merry Christmas.
Context: After ONE YEAR Twitter had 16K users.
Math is awesome.
