And now comes the fun part.
Attempting to find a restaurant that my entire family will like. Brother1 and I are the only two who enjoy something other than standard good-old American meat and potatoes. Mom and Brother2 have very boring palates.
Silly Brother1 suggested Madeline's French Bakery & Bistro. HAHAHA!!! *ahem* yeah, Brother2 would most definitely not find anything to eat there.
@see_the_sus and you spent your time observing them
How awful.
My sister-in-law has a law degree, although she's never ever practiced (go figure), and so she thinks that she has to fight her way thru conversations.
We almost had a heated discussion about society moving towards 100% digital currency. Mom starts in on "Well that'll be the end of us old folks. You'll see a rise in euthanasia."
I brought up that the gov't would need to monetarily assist small mom-pop stores in switching to such technology.
Sometimes I have to hold myself back from not bursting out laughing hysterically.
One of my sisters is ALWAYS looking for a fight. Especially after her cocktail hour. She baits me by text. I have learned to ignore her. It’s really so sad.
Ugh. I hate narcissism.
Thankfully the only time I communicate with either of my sisters-in-laws is when I'm around them with their husbands.
@LnzyHou @see_the_sus it would be healthier to ignore her.

I've gotten better over the years at not engaging much because when I do try to talk about something with my mom or Brother2, I step into a pile of manure.
With Brother1 and wife, I have to be careful not to get into any sort of discussion that could turn into a case where they're hell-bent on proving me wrong. I suck at debating because I become too emotional. I'd rather just avoid any situation where every conversation turns into a competition.
