So we finally convinced my mom to get a handicap tag for her car and/or to take with her if someone else drove.
She is almost 88 and it is icy in the winter.
But when asked how far she could walk unaided she said at least a mile.

Me: That isn’t even true.

Mom: I know but I can’t admit that.

Thankfully, enough other boxes were checked so they could give her one.
