We have black out shades on our bedroom window because the neighbors won’t turn the light off on their side garage door. We can’t open the window to get any breeze. It’s miserable but they don’t care. We’ve asked them to get motion sensor or a dimmer light but they won’t. No one has ever broken in in 25 years, even for a while when their light was out. It makes it like daylight in our bedroom but they won’t do anything so we keep the window closed and black out shade pulled. It’s light intrusion
